Eric is the Managing Member and Founder of CryptoShire, a crypto-focused investment fund. He is actively involved in several industry-specific communities and efforts with contributions including advisory, open-source development, community-building and coordination work, advocacy, and public goods funding. Areas of focus include long-term protocol development & architecture, market and mechanism design, account abstraction, zero-knowledge cryptography, and security.
Prior to founding the Investment Manager, Eric was a member of the investment team at Stockbridge Investors, a multi-billion dollar long-only, highly concentrated public equities investment fund.
While at Stockbridge, Eric led diligence efforts across a broad range of industries including fintech, payments, cloud software, consumer internet, and industrials. He also spent time evaluating pre-IPO and crossover investments during this time. In addition to his time at Stockbridge, Mr. Siu spent extensive time researching cryptocurrencies.
Prior to Stockbridge, Eric was in the Strategic Advisory group at PJT Partners, where he spent time advising on transactions including restructuring & bankruptcies, M&A, IPOs, private placements, RMTs, spin-offs, and structured deals across numerous industries.
Eric graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He grew up in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and is currently based in Cambridge, MA.
