Tomás is the CTO at Phoenix Tailings, where he is currently working on novel technologies to extract value from mining tailings in an economical and environmentally sustainable manner.
Tomás has worked in the metals processing space for over 10 years, specializing in the production of non-ferrous metals. Metals of note include rare earth metals, lithium, platinum, and nickel.
He holds a PhD from Boston University in Materials Science and Engineering.
